On April 1st, 2022 Sistanagila will present its new musical program featuring renowned violinist Guy Braunstein. Braunstein, who was the 1st violinist (Konzertmeister) of the Berliner Philharmoniker for over 13 years, is considered to be one of the top violin players in the world today.
In the past 2 years and during the Covid 19 pandemic we have been writing a lot of new music with Sistanagila, which were written in the mindset of featuring Sistanagila’s unique Ethno-Jazz sound with the addition of virtuoso, genre-crossing violin lines and solos.
Our oriental suite, which features 4 original Sistanagila pieces connected together in the form of a classical Suite, will also be featured in the concert. We call it the “Four Oriental Seasons”, as a tribute to Antonio Vivaldi’s famous Violin Concerto.
